The early stories all had this really over-the-top 2nd person narration, like Claremont was talking to the hero. "YOU are the Iron Fist, and you assume a cat stance as your opponents move around you, muscles staying tense as you await your moment to STRIKE!" "You reach deep inside yourself, remembering the touch of Shou Lao, and your hand starts to crackle wildly, glowing with the might of the dragon until it becomes as UNTO A THING OF IRON!" That stuff was all over the place. Oh, you don’t know the half of it. The early stories all had this really over-the-top 2nd person narration, like Claremont was talking to the hero.
